Yes, the library provides access to the video streaming platform, Kanopy, but with limitations.
The library will only purchase films on Kanopy by request and these films are only licensed not owned. This means that the films will expire after 1-3 years unless we receive a renewal request.
Due to the high cost of video licenses, we are generally only able to fulfill requests for titles being used as required course viewing as requested by faculty. To ensure we are able to provide access to video content for as many courses as possible, we are currently limiting the number of video licenses to five (5) films each semester, while funding allows.
