LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that facilitates access to library subscription content and Open Access resources. The extension:
- Provides one-click access to articles the library subscribes to from both journal publishers and database aggregators like EBSCO and ProQuest
- Uses Unpaywall (which has an extension of its own) and other sources to identify and lead to Open Access articles
- Uses the library's standard authentication method so no credentials are cached in your browser, which some tools do.
- Links you to Resource Sharing to request articles not available through the library's subscriptions
Install LibKey Nomad for your browser
During the installation process, you'll be asked to identify your library. Search for The Claremont Colleges Library, rather than your college name.
LibKey Nomad will recognize most academic publishers' pages, but does not currently (as of June 2023) work with JSTOR.
