The Library is open for students, staff, and faculty of The Claremont Colleges, as well as community card holders. Masks are required and eating is not permitted. See COVID-19 Services and Updates for more information.
All of the Library's subscription databases must be accessed by using your Central Authentication Service (CAS) login credentials.
It's also important to make sure you are accessing the database from the Library website at library.claremont.edu as we set up all of our online resources to go through the authentication system to verify that only students, faculty, and staff at The Claremont College have access to this paid content.
Once you attempt to access a database or click on a full text link from Library Search, you will see the purple Central Authentication Service login screen:
Select "Claremont Graduate University" from the first dropdown menu.
Select "LOGIN"
Then enter your CGU email address: firstname.lastname@cgu.edu, then click "Next"

If you are still having trouble access your "Library Account," please contact the Library at (909) 621-8150 or library@claremont.edu. We may have to refer your to your campus IT department if we are not able to resolve this issue.
