E-books purchased from popular online storefronts such as Amazon, iTunes, Barnes & Noble, etc are licensed only for use by the individual that purchased it. The institutional licenses required for The Claremont Colleges Library to loan e-books to our collective student population are not available via these storefronts. Loaning or sharing of e-books purchased under a personal user license is a violation of copyright.
