If we don't own something you want to view or read you can freely request them from other libraries through our Resource Sharing service. If you find an item using Library Search that you want to use and which the library does not own, the "Get This Item" button in the item's record will lead you to a Resource Sharing request form.

If you cannot find an item in the Library Search and wish to request it, you can fill out a Resource Sharing request for the appropriate format (book, article, etc.) with as much detail as possible.

Once you submit your request:

  • Articles typically arrive within 1-2 business days and will be sent to your email address as a PDF

  • Books and other print materials typically arrive within 3 - 5 business days

    • Their check out period is determined by the lending library.

    • You will receive an email notification that your book has arrived and you can pick it up at the Main Services Desk.

    • Faculty have the option to have the book delivered to their mailbox via campus mail.

If the book or article is something you'd like to add to our collection, contact your subject librarian to request we acquire it.
